Quality Control Technician

Job Description

Lamjen, a CNC Machining Facility in Erie, PA, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Quality Control Technician. This position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing support and feedback to the Manufacturing and Quality Departments.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform Product Inspection of Precision Machined Components and Assemblies

Communicate with Management and Team Members on Status of Inspection

Work closely with Team Members to provide applicable support and achieve work goals

Responsible for Receiving, First Piece and Final Inspection of Product utilizing Hand-Held and Automated Measurement Equipment

Effectively apply Advanced Math Skills and GD&T Methodology to Measurement Plans

Calibration of in-house Measurement Equipment

Identification and control of Non-Conforming Material

Enter and record data using applicable quality management system forms

Document control (preparation, scanning and filing)

Qualifications

Manufacturing Inspection Experience required with working knowledge of various inspection equipment and proficiency in its use

Working knowledge of CMM Programming and Operation (PCDMIS preferred)

Ability to Interpret Product Drawings and Specifications

Proficiency in Mathematics

Familiarity with GD&T applications

Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel and Email applications

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with working within an ISO9001/AS9100 environment a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
